The hot weather is certainly causing some issues around central Illinois. But a soccer tournament in Decatur is making sure their players stay safe in the sun this weekend. Decatur saw really high temperatures Friday and expects to see higher temperatures on Saturday. Organizers for the Midstate Soccer Cup said their first priority is keeping their teams and players safe. The three-day tournament brings teams from Missouri, Iowa, Indiana, and other parts of Illinois to Decatur for a festival of soccer.
